The Miss Leesburg Scholarship Program has officially inaugurated its royal court for the 2026-27 year, selecting a new panel of young leaders dedicated to civic engagement, municipal pride, and community service. The newly crowned titleholders are set to embark on a full year of public duties representing the city across a variety of civic, charitable, and cultural venues.
Leading the 2026-27 court are Miss Leesburg Callie Braun, Teen Miss Leesburg Harper Richey, Junior Miss Leesburg Raegan Mallory, and Little Miss Leesburg Myrcella Ciceri. Together, the four queens will act as the public face of the long-running scholarship organization, participating in local functions and serving as positive ambassadors for the wider Lake County area.
The program emphasizes community-driven leadership rather than traditional competition alone. Linda Watts, the founder of the Miss Leesburg Scholarship Pageant, underscored the court’s primary objective for the year ahead, emphasizing that the incoming representatives will devote their twelve-month tenure to embodying and advancing the community’s spirit of service.
Throughout the upcoming term, the queens will maintain an active schedule across Leesburg and neighboring municipalities. Their official duties will include appearances in holiday and festival parades, greeting attendees at municipal celebrations, and participating directly in charitable initiatives designed to support local families in need.
Among the cornerstone volunteer initiatives on their itinerary is the annual Share Your Christmas Food Drive. By lending their time and visibility to such charitable drives, the titleholders help collect essential provisions and rally broader public participation in grassroots relief efforts across the region.
Newly crowned Miss Leesburg Callie Braun brings significant pageant and community experience to her top role. Braun is deeply familiar with the organization, having risen through its ranks after previously earning the titles of Tiny Miss Leesburg and Junior Miss Leesburg in past competition cycles.
Her progression from the younger divisions to the primary title reflects a sustained commitment to local engagement. As the senior member of the court, Braun is positioned to act as an experienced mentor and guiding role model for the younger queens as they navigate their own public responsibilities over the next year.
Teen Miss Leesburg Harper Richey also enters her title with an extensive background in the scholarship program. Richey has previously captured both the Little Miss Leesburg and Junior Miss Leesburg crowns, establishing a proven track record of civic duty and dedication to the pageant’s founding principles.
Richey’s continued involvement within the organization demonstrates her ongoing passion for volunteerism. During her tenure as Teen Miss Leesburg, she is slated to help champion community welfare, leadership development, and civic involvement initiatives throughout Lake County.
Rounding out the 2026-27 court are Junior Miss Leesburg Raegan Mallory and Little Miss Leesburg Myrcella Ciceri. Both young titleholders will work closely alongside Braun and Richey, joining them at official functions to gain hands-on experience in public service and community representation.
The coronation of the new court marks the conclusion of a busy and successful term for the outgoing 2025-26 titleholders. The previous court featured Miss Leesburg Claire Carlton, Teen Miss Leesburg Ryleigh Mallory, Junior Miss Leesburg Allison Waddell, Little Miss Leesburg Zuri Spurlock, and Tiny Miss Leesburg Amzie Wilburth.
During the 2025-26 cycle, the departing court represented the city at numerous civic and commercial milestone events alongside local leadership. Among their notable appearances, titleholders joined Leesburg Mayor and Commissioner Alan Reisman and Campus USA Credit Union CEO Jerry Benton for the grand opening of the financial institution’s local branch in October 2025.
The 2025-26 court members also supported the city’s commercial development by taking part in the ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremonies for the new Aldi store located at U.S. 27 and State Road 48, where Carlton and Ryleigh Mallory welcomed residents and local patrons.
In addition to commercial events, the outgoing representatives participated in environmental and cultural programs. In June 2026, Carlton and Waddell attended the Leesburg in Bloom pollinator garden celebration and butterfly release at the Leesburg Library, where local beekeepers contributed colorful, volunteer-painted beehives placed on the library roof. The court also broadened its outreach across county borders by taking part in Lady Lake’s Big Bang festivities later that same month.
As Braun, Richey, Mallory, and Ciceri begin their 2026-27 term, they carry forward the traditions established by their predecessors. Over the coming year, the new royal court will continue fostering civic pride, encouraging youth volunteerism, and representing the heart of the Leesburg community.
